Dr. Omarali has practiced in the Tri-Valley region (Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore, and San Ramon) since 1998. He attends hospitals at Valley Care Hospital and San Ramon Regional Medical Center, and actively attends patients for all Cardiac procedures and hospital admissions in both facilities.
Dr. Omarali practices Internal Medicine and Cardiology with his wife, Dr. Bader. Both have lived in beautiful Pleasanton since 1998 and have two daughters.
Dr. Iqbal Omarali is Board Certified in Cardiology and Internal Medicine.
Born in London, England and raised in Toronto, Canada, Dr. Omarali graduated from University of Toronto with a B.Sc in Biology. He then completed his medical degree at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland. Following this, he pursued his Internship at Michigan State University in East Lansing, followed by Internal Medicine residency at the renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He then completed a cardiology fellowship at University of Missouri-Columbia, where his future wife was a medical student. Dr. Omarali and his wife then re-located to New York City where he completed an additional year of fellowship in Non-interventional Cardiology at Columbia University, New York City. After his training, he attended as staff Cardiologist at St. Michael's Hospital and Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, Canada for two years. Following this, Dr Omarali and his family moved to sunny California.
